Version 1.2c adds a last minute fix  of a bug that can break your save file.

You can still play on 1.2b normally, just avoid quitting the game after the 2nd throne room scene before reaching the checkpoint.

If you came across this bug and your save file broke, you can fix it by doing the following:

– type %localappdata% in the folder browser directory bar or go to C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\XT_game (user being your specific user folder).

– Open the gamedata file 

 – Look for var114=”cham_2″, it’s usually a the very end or the very begining. 

 – change “cham_2” for “duct_ch”, still in quote marks. 

 – Save.

Load the game normally and that should fix it.
